Two days to share, discover and connect with fellow PhD students
The BioSPC Doctoral School Annual Forum is back on Thursday 19 and Friday 20 November 2026!
This year, we are delighted to welcome you to the Paxton Resort Marne-la-Vallée for two days dedicated to scientific exchange, the presentation of your research and meeting other PhD students from the Doctoral School.
Whether you would like to present your research as an oral presentation or a poster, or simply discover the work carried out in the other laboratories of BioSPC, you are very welcome to join us!
And because a forum is about more than science, a social evening will also be organised, giving everyone the opportunity to meet and enjoy some time together in a more relaxed atmosphere.
A chance to present your research
You can submit an abstract for an oral presentation or a poster. All abstracts, presentations and posters must be in English.
Abstracts should briefly present the background, objectives, results and conclusion of your project, and should not exceed 400 words.
Oral presentations will last 10 minutes, followed by 5 minutes of questions. Poster format is free. A short flash presentation may also be requested to introduce your poster and encourage participants to come and discover your work.
The PhD student representatives will take part in the selection of abstracts. The best oral presentations and posters will be awarded prizes following a vote by all participants.
Register now!
The deadline for registration and abstract submission is Friday 9 October 2026 at 6:00 pm.
Registration and abstract submission are done through the same form:
[REGISTER FOR THE FORUM AND SUBMIT YOUR ABSTRACT]
Selected abstracts will be announced at the end of October.
Places are limited, so we encourage you to register as soon as possible.
Two days fully covered by the Doctoral School
Accommodation and meals will be covered by the Doctoral School.
Participants will be accommodated two per room. You will be able to indicate in the registration form the person you would like to share your room with, as well as any specific dietary requirements.
The forum will take place at:
Paxton Resort Marne-la-Vallée
1 Avenue Joseph Paxton
77164 Ferrières-en-Brie
The hotel is accessible by RER A – Bussy-Saint-Georges station.
20 hours of doctoral training
Participation in the forum can be validated as 20 hours of doctoral training for PhD students giving an oral presentation or presenting a poster and attending both days.
Attendance on both days of the forum is mandatory to receive this training validation.
But above all, the forum is a great opportunity to step outside your lab, discover the research carried out by other BioSPC PhD students, exchange with people working in different fields and expand your network.
The Doctoral School brings together PhD students working on a wide range of research topics. Presentations are therefore intended for a broad audience and are not necessarily aimed at specialists in each field.
So whether you want to present your research, discover what other PhD students are working on, or simply meet fellow BioSPC students in a different setting: come and join us at the BioSPC Forum 2026!
We look forward to seeing you all on 19 and 20 November!
