On this International Day of Women and Girls in Science, we couldn’t have chosen a better time to reaffirm our concrete commitment to women in research.
Today, the L’Oréal Foundation, in partnership with the French National Commission for UNESCO and the French Academy of Sciences, officially announces the call for applications for the 2026 edition of the L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science Young Talents Award France.
Created in 2007, this program aims to identify and reward talented young female researchers. A total of 475 young women have benefited from the program’s funding at the national level.
This year, 35 grants will be awarded, at least five of which will be dedicated to researchers conducting their research in overseas regions:
• €15,000 to each of the doctoral students awarded,
• €20,000 to each of the postdoctoral students awarded.
We kindly ask you to distribute this call for applications within your institution or network and encourage eligible researchers to submit their applications.
