2026 Doctorat Handicap campaign

Dear HDR,

 

We would like to remind you that the national 2026 “Doctorat Handicap” campaign is currently open.

 

This campaign provides funding for:

 

• 30 doctoral contracts (3 years, starting October 1, 2025);
• 180 months of extension for “Handicap” contracts awarded in 2023.

 

 

Application files must be submitted by April 15, 2026, at the latest.

 

Please note that applications must be submitted as a single PDF file, containing the following documents in the specified order:

 

1. The application form attached.
2. A curriculum vitae demonstrating the relevance of your academic background to the PhD project.
3. The PhD project (maximum 4 pages, excluding bibliography), including a three-year timeline, relevance and feasibility assessment, and a statement of motivation.
4. A copy of your Master’s degree (or equivalent), allowing enrollment in a doctoral school.
5. A copy of your academic transcripts.
6. The decision notification from the Maison Départementale des Personnes Handicapées (MDPH) recognizing you as a disabled worker, or the MDPH receipt confirming that your application is under review.

 

 

Important: A simple email requesting MDPH recognition will not be accepted.
