Training Portfolio
During their three-years thesis, each student must validate their training portfolio consisting of about 100 hours of training (reduced to 50 hours for doctoral students with a teaching mission, in an AHU or CCA position), as stated in article 15 of the decree of 25 May 2016.
This portfolio allows the doctoral student to:
- Keep track of the trainings taken during the thesis
- Highlight acquired skills
- Prepare for professional integration
The ministerial decree of May 25, 2016 makes it compulsory for PhD students to undergo training in research ethics and scientific integrity. Since September 2025, according to the rules and regulations of the doctoral school, this training must be completed during the first year, befre the first CSI: https://www.fun-mooc.fr/fr/cours/integrite-scientifique-dans-les-metiers-de-la-recherche/

Financial Assistance
For some courses that are not free of charge, but that fit into the professional project, the Doctoral School may grant partial funding (prior agreement of the management of essential ED) in exceptional cases.
The host laboratory normally covers costs related to training.
Where to find the trainings?
The trainings can be found in:
